Hoo, a sudden appearance? I wrote this creepypasta to show I am still somewhat aware of what is happening, just a bit as I say.

(and of course, fictional blah blah)

Description[]

On the 9th of June, 2021, an incident happened on a public multiplayer server where seven players encountered something in a cave, something unusual, which then caused troublesome and bizarre stuff. Some players said that it was not the first time, though there is currently no proof, and if there were encounters previously, it would be lost media. The crew did not get mentally affected by the incident, but they considered the server dangerous with them saying it harms you computer, like breaking some of your computer's parts, that is debatable but possible.

The thing is a glowing blue block that damaged everyone in a ten-block radius, and the damage got larger if you got closer to it. It looks like sapphire, and the glow was very bright that some think it can bypass the light limit. It is unknown why it damages. Some believe it protects something, while some believe that it is related to something mysterious coming. It is also confirmed to cause several issues with lags and stuff like that. Rumors of it leaking your location were also rising, although it got proven false and said by many players as a dumb thing. After some (real-life) days of its appearance, it creates a blue atmosphere with lags going to the point where it is unpredictable and unfixable since rollbacks won't work.

There are also entities related to the block, one of them is The Observer, which only appears for players with 22+ render distance. It is currently confirmed for it to watch you from pretty long away. It has no other abilities to be known, but it may act as a message that the block has gone fully effective. Another entity is called The Miner. They appear in the cave after The Observer. They are hostile that attack any unsuspecting players in the caverns that they consider dangerous. It is since the block appears in the caves, so. Technically they are regarded as the guards. Unfortunately, as of now, they are only confirmed entities.

The First Part[]

Seven miners were in a big, dark cave to seek diamonds as it was their quest to become one of the strongest in the server. They also had a plan to empty the whole cave area of the biome. They mined there six hours nearly every day, showing other players that they are serious about what they are doing. They joined the server between 2019 - 2020 and became a crew in mid-2020, with the original reason being to train PVP and survival skills but later decided to take the road to become one of the strongest.

The crew called themself "Seven Pros of Postal" due to their aggression when playing and showing no remorse. They were one of the most vicious crew ever on the server. When they became a crew, they trained to get good in PVP, causing them to possess impressive fighting skills against players and mobs. SPOP were smart with them studying players and killing the weakest ones first. Admins made numerous server events for players to kill them, which all failed, which lead to several rumors, anxiety, and fear.

The 14th day passed since the quest started. Things got confusing when the owner alerted players about several bug encounters and fps drops. SPOP was one of the first to encounter some of them, for example, duplication, mobs spawners not working, tools not decaying when used, and immortality. SPOP chose to use it as an advantage for several reasons, but it ended quickly when two of them got banned permanently, which caused a heavy loss of respect. That devastated the leader, but they moved on and told his fellow members not to abuse the bugs.

The 16th day passed since the quest started. The problems with the server continued longer than they should have, with several people using it for their purposes. Many players got banned as the issue got worse. Even SPOP started to take it more seriously when several chunks suddenly disappeared, with one of them being half of their potato field. Many players also tried to attack SPOP, which succeeded four times, which was a weakening for SPOP since they were too focused on the issues of the server. The crew moved somewhere into the mountains, far away from players, to have more peace since they were in trouble.

As the crew got their base on the mountains finished, they took a hiatus from mining until the server gets fixed and upgraded. They also decided tomorrow they will check a cave and protect it from any players or some other danger. They were pretty tired of the event of this day and hoped if they could recover from it.

The next day. SPOP joined the server earlier than usual, which was why the server was empty. One of them decided to pillage nearby villages while the rest went into the cave to seek what they could use for the future.

SPOP has spent 2 hours in the cave finding many diamonds, obsidian, and gold, which they didn't mine because of the server issues. There were also no mobs in the cave, meaning something is not right about the server. Until one of the members made a most unexpected discovery...
