Unorganized[]

I remember when I joined this wiki on that fateful day, September 4th of 2016.

I agree with Rule 14. Excellent choice to create it, Themaster401. You have my kudos.

Swearing and cursing is allowed, as mentioned above.

Shall content mods be allowed to make minor changes to the homepages (wiki updates, etc)?

This wikia has grown very well. I still remember when I was a fandom user/wikia contributor.

History will be kind to me, because I intend to write it. (talk) 20:40, January 11, 2018 (UTC)

I agree with rule 11, Yoshfico123. A good idea to create it. I agree.

About the latest edit to this page[]

Mention that entering the words in the text box creates a page with the words that you typed as a title (E.g. if you typed in "WIP" as the words in the text box that would be the title)

'Cos there would probably be a bunch of 8 year olds that type in their 100 word pasta in the textbox and create a page with that title

At least that what it seems like to me.

Also I won't be surprised if no one sees this as who even uses talk pages in Fandom wikis anymore?

I am the one who knocks still use talk pages :walter:

Rule Proposal (idk whether to put it under here or quality standards)[]

-No AI-generated storylines. Should your pasta have clear evidence (i.e. Sure! Here is a Minecraft Creepypasta for you:). It will be deleted, and a 1 week long (?) ban given to the user.

Ik the above would be insanely hard to enforce, but I think it should be there to let people know that AI-generated creepypastas are not allowed and to somewhat deter them from posting AI-generated stuff/unknowingly posting it because they didn't know that it was against the rules.

I'm not saying that the pastas should be put through an AI detector (I'm against that btw) because they give way too many false positives for it to be worth it.

-Do not post pastas less than 200 words. Please also read the Quality Standards before starting to write your pastas. Should you post multiple pastas less than 200 words in length, you will receive a warning. Should you get 3 (?) of these warnings, you will be banned for 2 weeks (?). Should you want to appeal your decision, please contact an staff member. Please also use the Work in Progress template for incomplete pastas. This can be done by typing {{WIP} (one curly bracket removed from the right side to prevent template from generating)

The above is to prevent spam. I hope you will consider this idea.

Not so long ago I also thought about adding rule about AI-generated storylines. I will add it sooner or later, I just currently a little busy and I can not visit the wiki very often.
And also we already have rule that prohibits creating pastas less than 500 words (here). The Ice King Let's talk? 14:55, 30 August 2023 (UTC)
I known, I meant adding temp-bans for people who repeatedly spam extremely short pastas even after multiple warnings.

Why is this creepypasta wiki the only one to ban people for believing in the creepastas?[]

I'm just curious. Like do you guys have a problem with that? Like what incident prompted this rule to exist? Like what went before I showed up? Can anyone offer clarity for why this rule exists? 4ngryth3fan (talk)
