It was a normal day. I was 11 when I was playing with my 4 year old sister. She was learning how to play mcpe and I had to help her. We loaded up a new survival world, and it was a pretty nice world. The day started normally. We gathered wood and built a large house with two bedrooms, a kitchen area with furnaces and a mine entrance.
We took turns to go out in the mines, gather food etc. Someone would always have to watch the house. It was my sister’s turn to mine, so I was staying behind.
Everything went normally, until my sister shouted “Hey! There’s a gray monster! You never taught me about that!”
I ignored her, because I knew that there was no “gray monster” in minecraft. Then my sister suddenly screeched out “HEY! I‘M DEAD! I HAD LOTS OF IRON!” I looked over to her screen, and yes, she was dead... Being a young child, she rage quitted.
I sighed and went into the mines myself. So much for our plan. I picked up the iron ore my sis had dropped. I felt like something was watching me, but I shook off the feeling. After mining some more, I returned to the house.
I put the ores to smelt in the furnace. After waiting a bit, I noticed something odd. It was nighttime but there were no mobs. I went outside and felt the weird feeling again.
Once the ores were done smelting, I went to put them in the chest. All the chest items were out of order... I checked the player list but only I was on.
The next minecraft day, I went out in search for a few pets. I found a cat and dog. When we headed back, I found that a few things had been displaced. The crafting table was in my room and my bed was the wrong way around. I didn’t think much of it then... I had to get off my iPad so I quitted the world.
The next time I logged onto the world, my pets were missing. I had left them in my room. That was very strange... I looked all around the house for them. I even checked the mine! They were nowhere to be seen. I started to look outside. THERE THEY WERE! They were following another player!? As the mysterious player got closer, I saw the details. The player looked like... me? The player’s gamertag was also the same as mine. Isn’t that impossible? Then, what I dreaded most happened.
The player pulled put a netherite sword, and killed my pets. I felt sorry for them, even though they were AIs. I wrote in the chat “HEY! THOSE WERE MY PETS!” The mysterious player replied within 1 second. Their username was different to the mine in the chat, but it was mine in the game! <e91840283729> Think of them as your only friends
