Hello. This is my very first creepypasta, so I hope you enjoy it!!! One day in 2019/2018, I was playing Minecraft PE trying to build a house because it somehow gave me nostalgic memories, but enough about that now.
Before it happened.[]
I have seen tons of people get the weird blocks glitch where the block becomes de-textured or mixed with other, so when it happened to me, I assumed it was the glitch I'd seen online. Around when I was done building my house, I needed to use the bathroom and had to turn off the game. When I came back and started up the game, Minecraft wouldn’t load correctly when I tried to enter the title screen. When it did stop, The image for the game was... different. I joined the game, and everything seemed fine. Then I saw.
During it happened.[]
There was a circle of torches around me when I joined, there were weird crosses all around me, of all kinds of different blocks, even the normal blocks! All the blocks were changed, their texture was just a mess and even after deleting the blocks and rejoining, it was still there. I checked my inventory and it was WORSE. Some of the items were completely invisible and when I placed them they were invisible too. The rest were also just a mess just textured as a block. I glanced at the nearby village I had in my world, but it was affected as well. The villagers kept staying inside, even if there was no storm, night or mobs anywhere. The rest were just opening and closing doors, over and over and over again. There were random signs, just empty signs. Later, a storm just suddenly appeared out of nowhere, and bats kept coming out, acting crazy all over the place. I tried to change the weather, but the first few tries didn’t work. When it did, I decided to log out of Minecraft to see if it would magically fix. When I joined back, something changed, everything was still crazy, but the signs changed, Remember i was in single player mode, so I don’t know how this happened. Most signs were empty, but the farthest one back, was spelled, ”Hello.”, I messaged back with, “Who are you, are you Herobrine or Null?”. It replied, ”No.”, I said, ”Who are you then?”. It didn’t reply, Instead, the world got lagger and lagger and lagger until it crashed. I tried to log back in, and when I did, The world wasn’t there, but a copy was. When i played it, Everything was back to normal, all the blocks had texture, my house was there, there was no torches, everything was back to normal, expect a sign right in front of me, which said “I will be back”, and when I finished reading it, the game crashed. Again. everything was back to normal after this.

I didn’t play Minecraft as often as anymore, so I spent more time on Roblox and Fortnite. But now I play both. Several brief encounters happened after that, but I ignored it, and it stopped, as far as I know. I tried to tell my friends about it, but they didn’t believe me.
